A Leadership& Personal Development Course
Offered by: Truby Achievements, Inc.
Course Overview :
Anyone wanting to take a gigantic leap in personal growth and effectiveness in interacting with others is welcome to the benefits of this personal growth intensive. This 3-day intensive is designed to help maximize a person’s potential and contribution in the work setting.
The course is conducted in a learning environment that utilizes group dynamics. A maximum of five people is allowed to attend each session so ample attention is given to each person. Through psychological testing, in-group interviews, teaching, and group interaction, each person will develop an understanding of the following:
- A complete analysis of your personal “current reality” including psychological, interpersonal and physical health
- An understanding of personal strengths and weaknesses
- What past dynamics have lead you to be at this point in your life; personally and professionally
- Boundaries, barriers, or dynamics that prevent you from interacting, leading, or contributing to your fullest potential
- What are your basic motivators in life and how do they specifically effect you
- What has been, and what will be, your life direction
- The developing of an effective action plan to enhance strengths, eliminate weaknesses, and facilitate your life direction
What happens during the three days?
Before the course you will receive some tests that will be reviewed during the intensive. Further, you will have a brief telephone interview to answer questions about the details of the intensive, work out the logistics of arrival and lodging, plus begin the work of developing a mindset that will give you the most out of the workshop.
The course is an intensive so there is a lot of time spent together. We gather on Tuesday evening for a get-acquainted dinner and orientation for the Intensive with plans to finish by Friday, no earlier than noon but can go as long as 3:00 PM. The schedule between Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon, other than the course content, is somewhat left to the needs and desires of the participants. There will be times for learning, reflection, personal reflective/analysis exercises. We’ll even arrange for tours, golf or other activities for those who want to come before or after the seminar.
Our first task is to get to know each other, set ground rules and discuss the desired outcomes of the course. Here is where we acknowledge issues of confidentiality, the need for collective openness and the necessity of supporting each individual through the process. This occurs during the first evening.
Though we support a person’s occasional need to be alone, meals are done together to continue facilitating the group interaction and growth. Sometimes during a social session you receive helpful or dramatic insights. We will opt to have casual meals (barbecues or sandwiches) at the facility where we are holding the intensive or go out to eat at one or our great restaurants.
By the end of Wednesday, sometimes spilling over into Thursday morning, you will understand yourself completely; from your self-esteem, to what motivates you, to various patterns and programming in your life. We then turn our attention to getting rid of the “blocks” in your life that may keep you from growing, interacting effectively, or doing the things you want to do. You will learn a process that rids you of these life barriers. You should experience this freedom by Thursday afternoon.
Late Thursday or early Friday we begin teaching you how to reprogram your behavior and subconscious mind. You’ll learn many proven, practical techniques and tools you can use throughout life. Armed with these tools, you will have a complete understanding of “what makes you tick,” and the removal of the barriers that can keep you from moving forward or interact effectively with others. We then lead you through a process that gives you focus on your present and future. You’ll answer questions about what you want differently in the present and the future. You’ll also develop clear plans to reach your desires and goals. And the good news…you will now have the resources, understanding and tools to get there!
Who should come to this course?
This course is designed for people who want to grow and are willing to work with the exciting benefits of group dynamics in doing so. It is not group therapy, however. This is not designed for people who need deeper psychological counseling. It is for people who want to understand themselves from all perspectives including psychological, social, mental, emotional and other personal history programming.
